WHY IT FITS.
Areis makes an unread message the emotional hinge of this short bass-music track. A vocal electronic or melodic bass sequence gives the lyric a chance to register between harder selections.
Behind the song
THE FEELING BEHIND IT.
Areis voices the person who kept chasing the next thrill, certain their partner would still be there. Only the unanswered messages remain when the realization hits. Rath sets that moment of hindsight against a 140 BPM dubstep track that’s over in less than three minutes.
