DJ / Curator notes
WHY IT FITS.
Sierra’s low-key, sultry vocal rides a repeating groove and driving bassline for five minutes. Cue it where a late-night house set can hold one mood for a while.
Behind the song
THE FEELING BEHIND IT.
Sierra’s vocal and a driving bassline share the foreground for five minutes. Richard Klosa wrote the music and lyrics, with additional lyrics by Laura Spadafora. The invitation in the title gives the song the intimacy of a house party even as the groove fills a larger room.
