DJ / Curator notes
WHY IT FITS.
The Minty Remix gives DBG’s Woodbridge character a heavier bass-house setting. Give its comic asides room in a late-night club or specialty radio set where a deliberately playful vocal will land.
Behind the song
THE FEELING BEHIND IT.
At 132 BPM, the Minty Remix makes room for the voices as well as the beat. D.B.G and MINT3 feature on a track that plays with slang, crowd instructions and the question of who gets to call something mint. Its 4:03 runtime gives the punchline another lap of the floor.
