Call It Even Now
Rick Rath feat. Thvndr & Rheyn
Two coffees, an old diner booth and a breakup where nobody has to win.
Modern country-pop breakup storytelling, with a little radio polish and an emotionally restrained “it’s over, no drama” feel.

WHY IT FITS.
For a contemporary country or storytelling playlist, give the diner scene and Wazmo’s electric guitar room to register. The couple’s willingness to split the blame makes this a quiet change of mood after a more confrontational breakup song.
Behind the song
THE FEELING BEHIND IT.
The couple in “Call It Even Now” have argued in the same places they once fell in love. When they meet again, they try something different and divide the blame as well as the belongings. Thvndr and Rheyn feature on the song, with Wazmo credited on guitar.
