DJ / Curator notes
WHY IT FITS.
Rheyn’s vocal carries the communal feeling Rath loved in an old hymn. A natural fit for faith-inspired electronic playlists or a melodic-dance program that leaves space for an uplifting singalong.
Behind the song
THE FEELING BEHIND IT.
Rick wrote “Lift Your Voice” looking out over the Rhine in Oberwesel, Germany. The view became the cover image. He wanted the song to carry the communal lift of a favorite hymn, “All Creatures of Our God and King.” With Rheyn on vocals, that impulse grows into a 129 BPM progressive-house release.
