DJ / Curator notes
WHY IT FITS.
A familiar ’90s Eurodance chorus turns up over a reggaeton groove. The recognition factor makes this version a bridge from throwback dance picks into contemporary Latin pop.
Behind the song
THE FEELING BEHIND IT.
For the Bailando Remix, Rick brought the familiar chorus of his ’90s recording with Elissa into “Baila Con Fuego.” Elissa’s harmony and Kid Bask’s presence connect the Eurodance original with the reggaeton feel of the newer track.
